A cytological sample is taken with a fine needle under the guidance of ultrasonography from non-palpable nodules in the thyroid and breast tissue and from mass lessions with suspicion of malignancy. If fine needle samples remain incapable, under the guidance of ultrasonography or digital mammography, a thin wire is placed into the lession, in this manner the patient is sent to the surgeon and the surgeon removes this lesion as it is with peripherial tissues.
